Where do you live?
What do you do?
I am an elementary school English Teacher, Barista and CurlSista Intern.
How long have you been a natural gal?
What do you love about being natural?
The simplicity of washing and going, shaking out my pineapple and spritzing my homemade curl refresher of lavender oil and water and running out the house. I love the versatility of my hair. It gives every look this splash of "wild".
What's your hair regimen?
I wash my hair once a week with DevaCurl's Lo-Poo and condition it with Deva Curl's One Condition every 3 days. I use a wide tooth comb while the condition is in. I have a handful of microfiber towels that can be purchased at the dollar store or I use a clean cotton t-shirt and dry my hair with it. I then take a dime sized amount of coconut oil and scrunch my hair. Last but not least I use Kinky Curly's Knot Today for my leave in treatment. I bought a handy generic diffuser from target for 5.00 and attach that to my blow dryer then diffuse my hair until it is semi dry. To give my hair some volume I immediately gather my curls and pull it into a pineapple and leave it in until I reach my destination.
