Name/ Antoinette Childs
Background/ I'm Caribbean and African-American. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland.
Where do you live?
Just moved to NYC.
What do you do?
I'm a social media intern for CurlSistas.com. And I contribute to other fashion sites.
How long have you been a natural gal?
This is my second time attempting to go natural and I'm 8 months strong.
What do you love about being natural?
I feel like my authentic self. It's a daily celebration of my heritage.
What's your hair regimen?
I co-wash and deep condition once a week and only shampoo if I have a lot of product build up. I steam regularly to retain and add moisture. I like twistouts and bantu knot outs. If it's hot (or I just don't feel like doing it), I'll do a protective style like a chignon or bun.
