Background/ I was born in Zambia; I have lived in Kenya, London and New York.

Where do you live? I live in Long Island, New York.

What do you do? I’m a Brand Manager in the I.T Industry.

How long have you been a natural gal? I'd say about 5 years on and off.
What do you love about being natural? I feel like my hair is healthier when I'm natural and I can experiment with different looks without worrying about damaging my hair.
What's your hair regimen?  I try to wash my hair and deep condition it at least every 2 weeks. Lately I've been religiously applying a mixture of argan oil moisturizer and olive oil every morning and night.

How do you describe your fashion style? Chic and colorful.


What are your fave stores to shop? Asos is definitely my fave store followed by Lipsy, Mandees and Charlotte Russe.

Do you have a fave designer? Not really; I have several designers that I’m fond of. The African in me is definitely in love with designers that can mix African prints with Western styles.
One item you can't leave home without? Let’s make that four – wallet, phone, powder and lipstick.
Fave things to do on the weekend? I'm so busy during the week that my best weekends are when I stay home and do absolutely nothing (that rarely happens though).
Fave travel destinations? Any gorgeous island. I've been told that I'm obsessed with the islands.
What do you wish for? To be happy and content.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I hope to have accomplished several things from my bucket list, especially traveling.

What makes you smile? Knowing that God loves me with all my flaws and imperfections.
