Curlsista of the Day: Ogunyemi From Nigeria

Name/ Ogunyemi Oluwabukola   Age/ 20   Background/ I was born in Lagos, Nigeria.   Where do you live?  I live in Lagos.   What do you do?  I'm a student in Ukraine.   How long have you been a natural gal? My hair is the really soft type and I used to relax it before so at a point it started breaking. I stopped relaxing last year and I left it to grow natural. It's been 5 months officially since I've been a natural girl but in June this year, I decided to cut my hair really low to the same length so everything would be equal. I also love looking natural even when I was relaxing my hair!

What do you love about being natural? What I love about being natural is that when you're natural your hair looks healthy your edges are intact, no breaking due to relaxer damage and you can style your hair in so many ways. Being natural is really cool.   What's your hair regimen? My hair regimen includes washing, conditioning and I also do mayonnaise treatments, too, like once a month. I also apply a mixture of garlic and olive oil on my hair, my Arab friend introduced me to it. When I wear natural weaves, like the curly ones, I wash, condition, dry and style it.
